The Police Rehabilitation Centre has Infection Prevention and Control Policies and Procedures that follow the guidance from the Government and Public Health England, ensuring the safe and effective treatment of patients during this Coronavirus pandemic as well as looking after the safety of our staff.
We are proud to have been offering our patients clinical treatment, providing an outpatient and inpatient service, with confidence, thanks to the diligence of the Housekeeping staff who ensure the whole environment is regularly and scrupulously clean.
Patient numbers have had to be reduced to allow social distancing and Covid-19 lateral flow testing has been used since January 2021 for all patients attending Flint House as well as the clinical teams working ‘hands on’ with patients.
The nursing team are responsible for Infection Prevention and Control and monitor the health of inpatients patients daily as well as responding to the changing NHS guidelines.
Flint House is not complacent and continues to monitor the Covid situation supporting staff and patients to ensure the standards of compliance are met for the safety of all the Flint House ‘family’.
