Rehabilitation Therapist


Flint House, Goring-on-Thames

The Police Rehabilitation Centre, a charity for the rehabilitation of injured serving and retired police officers set in a stunning rural location near Goring-on-Thames, is looking to recruit a Rehabilitation Therapist to work within a team of Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Therapists in a purpose build Rehabilitation Department.

The work includes:

  • taking an active part in the assessment of rehabilitation needs and preparation of therapy plans for individuals;
  • setting objectives and criteria for group therapy;
  • management of dynamic group sessions;
  • provision of hydrotherapy/pool classes;
  • complimenting existing therapies with massage and/or strength and conditioning as appropriate;
  • daily maintenance of gym equipment;
  • providing clinical education/supervision to rehabilitation students;  
  • liaising with physiotherapist, nursing and administrative staff 

The successful candidate will have BSc Hons Sport Rehabilitation or Sport Therapy degree or equivalent, have relevant registration and be willing to be DBS checked.   They will be a good communicator, friendly, enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy working as part of a team. Own transport is essential as no public transport nearby.

Part time Housekeeping Assistant

32.5 hours/week

Flint House, Goring-on-Thames

The Police Rehabilitation Centre, an independant charity for the rehabilitation of injured serving and retired police officers set in a stunning rural location near Goring-on-Thames, is recruit ing a part time Housekeeping Assistant to work 6am – 1pm.
This position will include cleaning public areas, including the pool and physio areas and changing rooms as well as patient bedrooms, including bathrooms to exacting standards. 
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and lots of energy. You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, flexible and must enjoy working as part of a team. 

Own transport is essential as no public transport nearby.

Benefits include a 10% non-contributory pension scheme, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and use of leisure facilities.
