Today Flint House said cheerio to Sally (Capt.) Bergmann who at an age no gentleman would ask has taken to the life of a distinguished retiree.
For more than 13 years Sally has often been both the voice on the phone for patients and the first face seen when they enter Flint House. Always a smiler, organiser, extraordinaire, guardian of our grammar standards, typos hunter and the enthusiastic proponent of the correct usage of the omniscient apostrophe....!!
Well certainly for anything I have written in the last ten years.
Sally, enjoy a life of travel and leisure, and you will need to visit us to check on writing standards. Hugs and missing you already. It's been an honour and a privilege to have known you.
